C B Kelton (Mr Piano) cut his teeth on Gospel Music and is best known for his hit recording of "Hitching a Ride," which reached number 14 on the charts in the 1970s. He has made dozens of albums with other groups and four single albums. He also formed a well-known group called "The Journeymen", and had his own TV Show, The CB Kelton Show, in Mesa, Arizona. He records and produces his own music in his studio in Apache Junction, Arizona.
I recently contacted him, and he sent me some very complimentary e-mail messages. It turns out that his son, who is also a brilliant musician, drives buses for a living! There's hope for me yet!
C B Kelton has plenty of videos on YouTube, and his own website is on www.cbkelton.com
